Dora our trainee clinical psychologist with be delving into Acceptance and commitment therapy and the importance of it following a critical illness.
And we are going to try something new, a Q+A session with the Steering group committee and the RaCI team, so have your questions ready!
Don’t forget there will be tea, coffee, cake and an opportunity to chat during the break.
See you there!
Our Support group offers a welcoming environment where you can connect with others who have experienced critical illness. There will be opportunities to listen to patient experiences, share your own journey (should you wish to) and become part of the ICU support community.Â
During our meetings, guest speakers will share their insights, and you’ll have opportunities to ask questions.
Refreshments will be provided during the break.
“The chance to listen to and share experiences with other former patients and relatives is worth so much and lets you know you’re not alone during your recovery journey. It is also interesting to have presentations from medical staff and researchers on their work.”
